High-End Custom Sideboards

High-End Custom Sideboards

Custom-made for dining rooms, living spaces and refined entryways. Avrelahome develops each sideboard through its silhouette, material composition and storage requirements, then produces the approved design in our Foshan factory.

Choose the Silhouette

Four Ways a Sideboard Can Meet the Room

The support, height and amount of display determine whether the sideboard reads as architecture, furniture or a focal point.

High-end sideboard on an architectural plinth

Architectural Plinth

A recessed base gives a long sideboard a grounded, built-in appearance while keeping the support visually quiet.

Freestanding custom sideboard raised on legs

Light on Legs

Exposed legs lift the cabinet from the floor and make the base profile part of the furniture design.

Tall high-end custom sideboard

Full-Height Statement

A taller cabinet brings greater storage and presence, with door proportions resolved in relation to the wall above.

Custom display sideboard with glass doors

Glass and Display

Glass doors and interior lighting turn selected tableware or objects into part of the room.

Where It Belongs

Dining Sideboard, Living Credenza or Entry Cabinet?

The exterior may share the same calm profile, but the interior should change with the room and the objects stored inside.

High-end custom dining sideboard

Dining Room

Plan for dinnerware, serving dishes, flatware, linens and a top that may be used while entertaining.

Custom living room credenza

Living Room

Storage may include books, drinks, games or equipment that requires cable access and ventilation.

Slim custom entryway sideboard

Entryway

A shallower cabinet protects circulation while drawers organize smaller daily items out of sight.

Custom sideboard in an open-plan interior

Open-Plan Space

Finished side panels, the base and sightlines matter when the sideboard is visible from several directions.

A Controlled Palette

High-End Materials Work Best in Deliberate Combinations

The strongest compositions use a limited number of surfaces and give each one a clear role.

Walnut Veneer + Dark Metal

Continuous grain brings warmth across the fronts, while restrained metal details define the base or edges.

Oak Veneer + Textured Lacquer

Natural variation is balanced by a quieter color surface around the cabinet body or drawer sections.

Stone Top + Wood Fronts

The top adds architectural weight and creates a distinct serving or display surface. Thickness and edge treatment are resolved with the cabinet proportions.

Glass + Interior Lighting

Suitable for display sideboards and bar cabinets where shelf spacing, frame size and lighting are planned around the objects inside.

What Makes the Difference

The Most Visible Quality Is Often in the Smallest Lines

A high-end custom sideboard depends on control rather than decoration. These details determine whether it reads as one resolved piece or a collection of separate cabinet parts.

Front Alignment

Door and drawer gaps, integrated pulls and handle positions are set as one consistent composition.

Grain and Edges

Veneer direction, edge thickness and corner treatment are specified before production.

Base and Side Panels

Legs, plinths and finished side panels receive the same attention as the front, especially when seen at an angle.

Behind the Front

Select the Storage Layout by What You Own

The front arrangement is developed after the storage zones are defined, so the calm exterior does not limit practical access.

1

Drawers

For flatware, linens, placemats and smaller accessories that benefit from easy access.

2

Adjustable Shelves

For plates, bowls and serving pieces with different heights.

3

Tall Compartments

For bottles, vases or appliances that do not fit standard shelf spacing.

4

Glassware Storage

Planned around the size and quantity of the collection rather than a generic layout.

5

Equipment Space

Cable openings and ventilation can be included when electrical equipment is enclosed.

Before Approving Dimensions

Measure the Room in Use

A sideboard may fit the empty wall but still interfere with dining chairs, doors or circulation once the room is occupied.

Wall Conditions

Record the available width, baseboards, projections, outlets and switches rather than measuring only one clear span.

Occupied Clearance

Check the distance from the dining table with chairs pulled out and leave room for cabinet doors and drawers to open.

The Wall Above

Artwork, mirrors and wall lights should be considered before the final sideboard height is approved.

One Design, One Specification

Customized as Furniture or Part of the Whole Home

Avrelahome can develop one high-end sideboard or coordinate it with furniture and cabinetry across a larger residence. Once the dimensions, interior, materials and hardware are approved, the design is produced in our Foshan factory to the confirmed specification.

Custom Sideboard FAQ

Common Questions Before Ordering

Answers about cost, dimensions, materials, storage and room coordination.

How much does a high-end custom sideboard cost?
Pricing depends on size, construction, internal storage, material selection, hardware and surface details. A restrained veneer sideboard will have a different specification from one with a stone top, glass doors, lighting and metal framing. Send the approximate dimensions and preferred design direction for a project-specific quote.
What is the difference between a sideboard, buffet and credenza?
The terms frequently overlap. A buffet is generally associated with dining and serving, while a credenza may be used in a living room or office. Sideboard is the broader term for a low storage cabinet containing doors, drawers or both. The internal layout should follow its actual use rather than the product name.
What size should a custom dining sideboard be?
It should relate to the dining table and available wall without restricting circulation. Check the distance from the cabinet to the chairs when people are seated, not only when the chairs are pushed under the table. Internal dimensions must also accommodate the largest dishes or serving pieces.
Can you match the sideboard to my dining furniture?
Yes. It can relate through wood tone, metal details or proportion without copying the dining set exactly. We can review it together with your custom dining tables and chairs to establish a consistent material direction.
Can I customize the interior of the sideboard?
Yes. Shelf positions, drawer depths, dividers and dedicated storage zones can be developed around your tableware, linens, bottles or equipment. Providing approximate dimensions for larger objects helps us plan the interior accurately.
Can a custom sideboard have a stone top?
Yes, subject to the selected material and cabinet construction. The design must account for the top’s thickness, weight, edge profile and relationship with the doors and drawers. Compare broader options in our materials and finishes library.
Should I choose veneer or lacquer?
Choose according to the role the sideboard should play in the room. Veneer brings natural grain and tonal variation; lacquer creates a more controlled color surface. The two can also be combined to define different parts of the cabinet.
Can the sideboard be coordinated with my living room?
Yes. A living-room credenza can relate to tables, seating, wall panels or other cabinetry through proportion and selected material details. See our custom living-room furniture service for a wider room scope.
